Accessibility at Yapper

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Yapper is a team word-description game developed by Sumdora Ltd. We want more people to be able to enjoy it and are working to identify and remove accessibility barriers.

Using the app

You can control music and sound effects separately. Gameplay includes an on-screen timer and scores, and you can pause a turn. Our testing has included small-screen layouts, larger text settings, accessible control names, and navigation within dialogs on Android emulators and iOS simulators.

These checks cover parts of the app. They do not establish that every screen or interaction works with every accessibility setting or assistive technology.

Known limitations

Yapper's core gameplay involves timed rounds and players describing and guessing words. These activities may present barriers for some people. We have not verified that all game modes can be played independently using a screen reader or other assistive technology.

Physical-phone and broader assistive-technology testing remain outstanding. We do not currently claim full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Store purchase screens, advertising and consent dialogs may be supplied by third parties. Please also tell us if you encounter barriers in these flows so we can investigate with the relevant provider.

Tell us about an accessibility problem

Email admin@sumdora.ai with the subject “Yapper accessibility”. You can also use this address to request information about Yapper in an alternative format.

If you can, describe what you were trying to do, the screen or feature involved, your device and operating system, and any accessibility settings or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information. Do not send passwords, payment information or authentication codes.

We will review your feedback and discuss possible adjustments or alternatives with you. We will update this statement as testing and improvements continue.

How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on internal development and QA checks of the pre-release Android and iOS app, including emulator and simulator testing. It is not an independent accessibility certification. Testing of the website itself and a comprehensive WCAG audit have not been completed; this statement primarily describes the Yapper mobile app.
