What is the Yapper game?

Yapper is a team word guessing party game played together on one phone. One player describes the word on screen without saying it, while their teammates guess against the clock. Score points, pass the phone and see who reaches the target first.

Can I play Yapper online for free?

You can try a free 20-second mini-round right here in your browser, with no download. It is a short demo for you and someone nearby, rather than the full multiplayer app. The iPhone and Android app is coming soon.

Does everyone need to download the app?

No. The full Yapper game is designed for teams in the same room sharing one phone. The describer holds the phone, their teammates guess aloud, and the phone moves to the next player between turns.

Is Yapper a game like Articulate?

If you enjoy describing words against the clock in games like Articulate!, Yapper offers that kind of team game-night fun on a phone, with its own scoring and Chaos rounds. Yapper is an independent game from Sumdora Ltd and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Articulate! or Drumond Park.

Which languages can I play in?

The app includes words and menus in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Romanian and Arabic. The website mini-round is in English.
