Between rounds. No box required.
PUB GAMES ON YOUR PHONE
You've got a table, a few mates and nothing to play with. Yapper is a team word game for 4 or more players on one phone. Describe the word, your team guesses it, and you can stop whenever the next round arrives.
WHY IT SUITS THE PUB
- Nothing to carry.
Just one phone with the app on it.
- Easy to explain.
You can be playing before the drinks land.
- Easy to stop.
Finish the turn and put it away.
HOW TO PLAY AT THE TABLE
- 1. Make two teams.
Pairs work well.
- 2. Hand over the phone.
The describer keeps the screen away from their teammates.
- 3. Describe and guess.
No saying the word, spelling it or rhyming. Keep your voices at a volume the rest of the pub can forgive.
- 4. Pass it on.
First team to your target wins.
